Questions And Answers On All Natural Health Supplements For Humans

Lisa asks…

Why is Israel doing this and is it legal under international law?

1. Israel blocks over 50% of supply trucks headed for Gaza, causing mass malnutrition amongst people there.
2. Israel started blocking 75% of other goods headed for Gaza after Hamas was elected in 2008.
3. Israel blocks chocolate, jam, sage and coriander from entering Gaza.
4. Israel won’t let parts to repair Gaza’s power plant in so there are only half days of power there.
5. Israel won’t let supplies enter Gaza to repair the sewage system so up to 95% of water there is unsafe for human consumption.
6. Israel blocks ALL export of goods from Gaza and as a result, 98% of industrial operations have shut down there, causing further poverty.
7. Israel won’t allow in medical equipment and supplies to restore Gaza’s damaged health-care system.

Even for someone with a bias in favor of Israel, isn’t this all enough to be considered human rights violations? IMO, this is part of Israel’s *non*military genocide campaign which is supplemented with force as necessary.

It is also now known that IDF leaders have partnered with energy companies to extract natural gas from areas belonging to Gaza. This is one reason for the naval blockade, so people won’t go out there and see Israelis pumping out Gaza’s natural gas resources.

Why is it so wrong for kids to be vegetarian/vegan?

will the world end? I hear teenagers saying how parents wont support them, so they are waiting to start buying their own food. arent parents suppose to RAISE kids? no wonder my company has to support so many orphanages if parents have no idea how to raise kids. I live in south africa. the most dangerous parents I’ve found are the religious ones. apparently god will cure everything. yeah, if the kid wont die first.

anyway is it truly so hard to push the shopping cart to the shelves filled with seeds and grains? is meat suddenly cheaper? hm, NGO always gives grains. or is meat feeding the world? well, apparently it takes 7kg of grains to get 1kg of meat. and fish stocks are going to collapse in 2048. I know about creatine and vitamin B12 deficiency. and we couldnt argue about it unless science wouldnt tell us about it. and that same science gave us supplements and fortified food for vegans.

or is it because meat gives protein? apparently too much animal protein is causing osteoporosis. thats why cows milk isnt for humans. half of the world is lactose intolerant and osteoporosis rates arent larger in asia compared with the west. looks like sucking on cows titties isnt helpful. there are more sources of calcium other than milk. you dont have to believe everything they say in those commercials. they want money and they know how to attract ignorant masses to the store. btw eggs are filled with cholesterol. me and others survived on a vegan diet in mountains in asia. you have to eat more for energy. buddhists who live there all year long have no health issues if they eat vegan food for religious reasons. omega 3 is in flax seeds. flaxseed oil isnt that expensive. and a nutritionist told me that people who switch to veganism and become sick, were relying on meat too much.

is meat natural? sure, we are omnivores. and humans can think and decide what to eat. pandas do the same. and before saying that we have canine teeth for tearing flesh or that meat is so tasty, try bitting a deers leg and see if you can bite through the skin, and eat the flesh completely raw. yeah, everyone loves that meat sauce on spaghetti after it was cooked in TOMATOES, ONION and PEPPER.

no wonder kids have personality issues, if they are treated like puppets. working all day is not an excuse to be narrow mined and stand in a line with a shopping cart while butcher does all the work for you. I work on sundays, its really hot in africa and I’m not controlling anyone’s stomach. kids at my orphanage get what they ask for. so when are parents going to listen to kids food wishes?

I agree, there are a huge number of benefits associated with the vegetarian/vegan diet, documented by numerous scientific studies but certain people will never even consider other viewpoints.

Questions And Answers On Vitamin Supplements Health Concerns

David asks…

Terrible eating habits…help!?

My boyfriend has TERRIBLE eating habits…he hates fruit and vegetables, and eats a banana every now and then to make me happy. I’m actually super concerned for his health. He’s 22, and survives on carbs, meat (but its limited to what he’ll eat from those categories), milk, coca cola, fried food and vitamin supplements. I can’t imagine that taking supplements every day are equivalent to getting nutrients from real food. He’ll only eat a sandwich if its just the meat and the bread (white bread). I really can’t explain how picky he is. Because it hasn’t affected him physically, he just doesn’t care. I need him to know how much damage he is doing. I’m not trying to control him and I want him to enjoy the things he eat, but he won’t even try anything! Any suggestions? Any facts? Please help!

thrash44 answers:

I think you are trying to control him, and the more you try, the more stubborn he will be. The fact is you do not know what kind and if he is doing any damage. I’m a very picky eater myself and I can tell you that no amount of nagging from anyone will make me change my eating habbits. Granted, they are healthier than your boyfriends, but nonetheless, there are things that I absolutely will not eat. I found out later in life that I have a lot food sensitivity and allergies, and I think that being so picky was nature’s way of keeping me away from these foods. If it bothers you so much that you can’t leave him alone, cut him loose and move on, because you will make both of you miserable. Keep in mind that he is still young, and his tastes may change. My tastes have changed a lot since I was in my twenties.

Help! – Natural alternative treatment for tiredness . . .?

Male patient (50s) with the following complaints: Tiredness, cold-feet, loss of appetite and restless sleep. No history of heart disease. Blood-work within normal range. Uninterrupted sleep 4-6hrs per night. General good health, blood pressure and pulse normal. Height 5’10″ and 230lbs. Married and father of three. Disposition optimistic and outgoing. Patient expressed concerns of possible “wheat or food starch” allergies: however describes no correlating glutton allergy symptoms. Physician suggested multi-vitamin supplements, moderate exercise and afternoon power-naps.

I don’t think exercise and naps is the answer.

What do you suggest as a treatment plan for feeling tired all day long?

Questions And Answers On Heart Health Supplements

Kylee asks…

Heart health questions for younger people?

I’m 26, 150-160 pounds soaking wet, and I found out at the Doctor several days ago I have high blood pressure. I ate a lot junk, lots of fried food and soda. Didn’t exercise that much and maybe a little family history-couple had problems, a lot didn’t. I’ve cranked up the exercise to 1.5 miles a day jogging, push-ups, crunches, etc. I’ve been calorie counting, watching fat and sodium. Plain cheerios and mixed greens have become my best friends. I’ve been sticking to a limited amount of soda, 20 oz, but I drink a lot of water and a little juice. I have been taking magnesium, potassium and fish oil supplements. Is there anything else I should be doing, particularly since I am young? It seems I can get a good amount of basic vitamins from all the cheerios and mixed greens so I don’t want to overdo it with a 100% everything multivitamin. Potassium and magnesium seems a little harder to get enough of, and same with the amount of proper fat/oils so I take the fish oil pills. There seems to be a bunch of different heart health supplements out there, I’m scared I’ll take something and it turns out its unhealthy.

thrash44 answers:

Everything is cool, but if I were you, lose the supplements. They are a waste of time and money. You don’t need to become too obsessive about your diet. Basically, current advice is to reduce sodium in the diet- less than 6g, eat your ’5 a day’ fruit and veg and try to eat at least 3 portions of oily fish per week. Where possible substitute red meat with chicken and try to avoid saturated fats. But don’t exclude them completely. The key is moderation.

I eat butter etc, the problem comes when people eat too much of what they shouldn’t and it’s very easy to do. Make sure you exercise as much as possible.

Mandy asks…

Heart Health?

I’m curious are their any supplements that can be taken that will decrease heart rate? I know excercise is the main remedy for this, but I’m curious if their are natural ways through supplements to do this? I’d like to get my resting heart rate down in the low 70′s to mid-60′s. Presently now it resides in the window of 85-96 bpm and this is during the day. At night i’m sure it gets down to 78-82 bpm.

Does anyone know anything about D-Ribose health supplements? Another name is Corvalen.?

I am Type 2 diabetic and have had congestive heart failure in the past. I’m not planning on trying this without my doctor’s approval. I’m just doing a little research on it and would like to hear from others that may have tried it. It’s supposed to increase energy and relieve aches and tiredness.

thrash44 answers:

Sure, D-Ribose is basically a sugar that fuels ATP (adenosine triphosphate) synthesis. It definitely increases energy and relieves aches (it’s also helpful for those with fibromyalgia). The energy it creates isn’t a caffeine-type of energy. It’s more of a “natural” energy. Hard to explain, but didn’t make me crash afterwards… I just felt like I used to when I had more energy. The only thing I might caution you about is that it is a sugar, so if you’re diabetic you might want to factor that into your sugar intake. Don’t know what it does for those with CHF- might ask your MD about that just in case.

Questions And Answers On Brain Health Supplements Vitamins

Mark asks…

How to get DMAE in the Marine Corps?

I’m thinking about joining the Marine Corps. I take DMAE (precursor to choline, a neurotransmitter responsible for transmission in the peripheral nervous system, basically it turns the ‘volume’ up on your brain, allows you to focus better, think clearly, and maintain coherent thought and it is produced naturally in fish). This is considered a supplement, like a vitamin, so its perfectly legal and sold at any health food store. I want to be able to have this always available to me during my time in the Marine Corps. How can I get it while I’m active duty?
Can I have it shipped to me by family or is that more of a army thing. “the marines make do” etc etc

thrash44 answers:

Um… Go to a health food store and buy some…. You cant have it at basic, and as long as it passes the urine test, buy it.

John asks…

What is my girlfriend’s problem you guys?

She gets frequent nose bleeds, headaches and suffer migraines in most days of the week. I dont think she takes regular exercise and eat a supplement of fruits for her vitamins intake. Her childhood was spent living through second hand smoking and I assumed she wasnt raised healthy either. She’s almost an adult and gets carsick where ever she goes. She also experiences nausea and suffer MIGRAINES..&she does tell me she drinks milk everyday..I doubt that. I cant do anything but advise her on all these health talk and ‘should dos’ and ‘should nots’. She told me she thinks she has a brain tumor, which I think she doesnt. She sleeps throughout the days more than her nights in her off days and sleeps for only a few hours during the school days. Whats up with her?? What solutions are there for her you guys?

thrash44 answers:

Nosebleeds and migraines sounds like sinusitis. Do have you taken her to a doctor? It’s nothing terribly serious, but sinusitis can be really annoying and can get worse. Nausea and migraine are most of times together. Don’t forget to cheer her up, and make her know there is nothing serious to worry.

David asks…

light headness and constant anxiety attacks?

I’m going to tell you guys my symptoms and whats been going on :)

I am a 16 year old male teenager by the way

I reposted this to the mental Health section because I diddn’t get many views from the other section

almost a month ago I smoked some weed and it was a frightnening experience. I just slept it off and felt a little weird for a couple of days. but after that I was completely fine! :) a couple of weeks or a month later I was laying down and stood up. i felt really feint and it freaked me out witch caused a very small anxiety/panic attack. after that I went to the hospital and felt fine and service was taking way to long so we left.

a couple of days later. I started feeling really light headed again and when we got into the car I had a more serious anxiety/panic attacks. tingling body, fient, feeling of doom, dizzy, e.t.c. I went to the emergancy roomy. my blood is fine, my thyroid is fine, my heart rate seemed fine (except for the fact It was beating fast due to the anxiety/panic. so they let me out and gave me a paper to
prescribe “diazepam 5mg” wich makes me sleepy during a anxiety/panic attack and calms my nervs. I usually end up going to sleep for a while after I take one. I noticed though last time I took one I felt kinda irratated after I woke up. maybe due to the medicine or anxiety/panic.

so they just referred me to a phyciatrist/therapist. the next day I had a appointment with my regular doctor :) and he told me I have a “rhino virus” he said the upper part of my nose is really puffy and e.t.c and he said it disturbs the balance in my ears and can make me feel dizzy and like im going to fall. and gave me some nasal spray (wich I haven’t used much but I just started using lol)
he also said I’m just freaking my self out.

I was in class and I felt really tired and layed down for a couple of seconds then I raised my head and felt extremely light headed and I felt the anxiety and panic and I felt like screaming and running off so I won’t have any kind of panic attack in public and the thought of people thinking im crazy or whatnot. just the thought of going crazy in public helped me stay calm so I left school early and headed to the apartment I live in. and this was I think my 3rd anxieity/panic attack

when ever I feel anxiety/panic my face and back of my head/neck can feel kinda tense I kinda feel like screaming . and I’v been in a constant anxiety feeling. I was thinking maybe it was a anxiety or panic disorder

I’v been doing alot of research and I’v seen alot of things, such as how nasal infection/congest can make you feel light headed and like your falling or flying off. how weed can cause anxiety and panic later on. how your diet effects your brain and what not. (I’v only smoked weed like 4-5 times by the way)

I also was eating quite alot of fast food/preservitive foods before this happend. and my diet was really crappy. but I think I need to drink more water again. my dad also gave me vitamin b-100 wich is a supplement thing for vitamin b.

I also fear going insane. I fear it very much. I’m not hearing voices or having hallucinations but during my anxiety/panic states the slightest sound can scare me and I have hightend sense of sight (anxiety and panix attacks highten your aware ness levels) so I seem fine in that department (thankfully but it’s still scary just thinking about it lol)

writing about it kinda helps me calm down and realize. right now I’m shaky but it’s a little cold and it’s pretty early (3:48 am) just woke up. and I haven’t ate much because it makes me feel a little stomach sick when I eat.

feel free to ask me any questions and I will reply, and can this be cured?

thrash44 answers:

Psychiatric meds dont ‘cure’ anything.
It sounds like a good therapy and help to heal this for you would be to write everything down ,like you have done here and then apply this free version of a healing method to it eftuniverse.com ‘get started free’. Read the manual and resource areas.
Then if you need it you can get a therapist at eftmastersworldwide.com
Otherwise, you wll have to see a psychiatrist and they will give you medications,
The sites above are self explanatory,.
You could also ask to see your thryoid lab results and see for yourself on the report if the TSH is in the .3 to 2 ideal range, out side of the could cause prolbems. Ask for your sex, adrenal cortisol and dheas levels checked also.
Otherwise, this sounds like anxiety or the beginning of something else psychiatric. I agree that the way you are thinking isnt helping , it is like you are scaring yourself.

Questions And Answers On Herbal Health Supplements Site

Cindy asks…

Seattle area, please help: looking for reputable, well-established herbalist or alt. med. practitioner?

I am looking for a reputable, well-established alternative or holistic medicine practitioner in the Seattle area, such as an herbalist.
While I am open to consider those who might deviate from my preferred type of practitioner, I am specifically looking for a professional who, in conjunction with his or her health assessment, can dispense individual ENCAPSULATED herbs, including Chinese and Ayurvedic. A professional who could provide some kind of a prescription with these herbs would be a bonus.
Of prime importance to me, considering I will be traveling abroad, is someone who can dispense herbs (and perhaps other supplements) that are:
1) quality individual Chinese and Ayurvedic (Indian) herbs, not necessarily herbal formulas available at just any health-food store
2) available in clearly-marked, original packaging (to pass customs regulations)
3) accompanied by a note from the practitioner explaining why I need to take them on my trip (again, for customs regulations)
Any contact names or suggestions you have, including Web sites, message boards, and search engines, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Food-grade Diatomaceous Earth? To eat? (Or, at least, to put in tea.) Really?

As some of you know, I am an RN, who now does health counseling and coaching by phone. I frequently speak to people who choose not to take the medications prescribed to them for conditions like high blood pressure and high cholesterol, preferring to take natural/herbal remedies or supplements. Although I am certainly more knowledgeable about Western medicine, I have no problem with other treatments, wherever they may originate, as long as they actually work. I am getting more familiar with certain substances, like cinnamon and red rice yeast (or maybe it’s red yeast rice?), but recently had a patient sing the praises of food-grade diatomaceous earth, for either blood pressure or cholesterol treatment. Does anyone have any knowledge of this, used to treat medical conditions? I did some online searching, but mostly found gardening or insect control info, and the food-grade info was limited to sites that sold the stuff, so not exactly unbiased material.

Thanks,
Katherine

thrash44 answers:

While looking for a ‘natural’ way of flea and parasite control, I’ve been doing a pretty ‘in depth’ study of the ‘food grade’ diatomaceous earth.

For ingestion by either human or animal, the FOOD GRADE is the most important thing to remember here. There are ‘lesser’ grades for treating the lawn, treating building perimeters and for swimming pool filters.

Now, I’m a ‘naturalist’, more interested in the ‘prevention’ rather the ‘chemical cures’ of today’s medicine. Just seeing the list of ‘side effects’ listed on each drug on the market is frightening.

I’ve been really impressed with the pureness of diatomaceous earth…and what I’ve found really makes sense.

WHAT IF diseases like cancer are actually the result of some type of parasite infestation? It’s possible, seeing the quality of the foods we buy and the ‘recalls’ of beef and other products that are found to be unfit, unhealthy or containing salmonella, melamine or other harmful ingredients…both sickening and killing people and pets…

The ‘food grade’ diatomaceous earth is a pure and natural product of the sea…ground fossils. Although, to the touch, it feels like a very soft powder, to the insect or parasite, it is like ‘walking/crawling over ground glass’. It cuts into their skin and kills them.

Considering the cost of Frontline for flea/tick control on our cats and dog…$122.00…(which made 5 of my pets extremely sick for 2 days) and the cost of insect control for lawns and the veggie garden…the DE is a bargain. I just received an order, 2, 5 lb. Bags for $28. Including shipping.

I have been ‘powdering’ the cats and dog (carpet and pet bedding) and the flea population is nearly zero. The ‘bonus’ is, when the cats ‘groom’ they are ingesting it and being cleansed of any parasites like tapeworm, etc.

Large cattle farms add DE to their grain/feed, not only keeping the feed free of insects but curing any internal problems caused by fly eggs, etc.

Personally, I haven’t started sprinkling it on my oatmeal yet…LOL…but, with a little more research, I might <:O)

It may be a 'stretch' to say ingesting DE will control blood pressure and/or cholesterol UNLESS it can be proven that these health issues can be traced back to parasite infestation in the blood stream, affecting the heart, clogging and narrowing the arteries, etc. What about the possibility of parasites being responsible for Alzheimers and ADHD ????

It's a very interesting study and the possibility of DE being a great preventive and cure is pretty high, but I'd like to see more research done on it, because it really makes a lot of sense. <:O) Helen

Paul asks…

Body Building supplements advice?

Im 14 years old 5″8 and 155 pounds. I’ve been working out since the beginning of eighth grade into my current 3rd month of freshman year. I want to know what are the best ways that I can bulk up by using supplements or anything else that do not have any negative side effects to my over-all health especially my liver, excluding Creatine and stuff like that. Some ways that I’ve heard that are a good and healthy way are to use protein shakes. I heard that if you drink the shakes that you would tend to get fatter if you don’t work out. Disregarding the fact that that’s what they were meant for. But anyways I want to know if there are any other alternatives for bulking up. And I would like some advice on protein shakes and how to use them and what brand or type of protein shake I should get. I’m new at looking at this subject of supplements and such so bare with me if I sound retarded. Any other advice to supplements and such would be a great help thanks^_^

thrash44 answers:

For starters, there’s nothing unsafe about creatine. It has zero affect on your liver, it’s processed by your kidneys. Although I don’t believe a 14 yr old even needs something like that. If you’re not lifting heavy & hard AND not already eating a surplus of calories, don’t waste your time with supplements.

Now, having said all that, if you do need to supplement, your best bet is to buy whey protein & make your own shakes. The prepackaged ones tend to have more “filler” ingredients in them and may not have the best quality protein in them.

Best time for whey protein is first thing in the morning & right after lifting. You could also add casein protein before bed if you really wanted to.

Optimum Nutrition products are pretty good. I use their Double-Rich Chocolate in a cup of milk first thing in the morning. I’ve also used their vanilla whey mixed with orange gatorade post workout. At the moment, I’m using NOW unflavored whey for post-workout.

The best part of making your own is that you can add whatever you want to it! Fruit, peanut butter, oats, whatever.

John asks…

Anybody ever done a total body cleanse?

I’ve been checking out health supplement stores and i’ve talked to some people about them. I’ve thought about doing it myself…just to detoxify my body.
So please, i’d prefer someone who’s actually done one or does them, or if you’re close to someone who’s done a total body cleanse kit, to give my your thoughts, advice, comments…
Word of mouth is always the best :)
Thank you in advance

Oh and if anyone is unclear on what a total body cleanse, it’s a kit of different supplements, herbs or teas you take along with a modified diet or fasting for a certain amount of time to detoxify your lymphatic system, liver, colon, skin…etc

thrash44 answers:

I’ve never done a total body cleanse at one time. I’ve done several at different times. I use the Dr. Natura products. The Colon Cleanse involves parasite killing pills, an herbal tea, and powdered fiber. It is quite effective and if you drink plenty of water you will notice the energy and rid yourself of the “gunk” built up in your colon. This is a 30 day program.
The toxin program for your liver is different, and you can do it with the Colonix but it’s so expensive I do one at a time.
Look at www.drnatura.com for more details.

Questions And Answers On Alternative Health Supplements

Ken asks…

How can I do a colon cleansing though supplements?

I was wondering, is there a safe supplement I can take to do a home colon cleansing that I can get from GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc (or a local health store in Orange County, CA)? I don’t want to order any product over the internet. Also, how long does it usually take to work? Can I do it all in one day? Because I am on meds that I have to take everyday, and I’m sure it would flush the meds out of my system, but if I could do it in the morning anad take my meds by night it should be fine. I don’t want to have a colon irrigation procedure, so I’m looking for a safe home alternative. Thanks!!

BEST ONE: Women’s Renew available at Super Supplements. It is very affordable! It’s a three pill process that is actually very “light” on your body – no diarrhea and no cramping. It’s specifically formulated for women (there is also one for men). It takes two weeks to complete one program, however you can extend it to a month. If you are using this as a dietary supplement, make sure you are eating healthy and try to get at least a walk in every day – trust me, it helps!

Some tips with any intestenal cleansing:

If you are on medications, take them 30 minutes prior to taking the Women’s Renew – this gives your body the time to absorb the medication correctly.

Drink LOTS of water!! Believe it or not, more water helps you go easier! :) Good tip for constipation, too.

Include a supplement called “Jarro-Dopholius” – it’s good bacteria that would otherwise be completely wiped out of your ssytem, and you do need some of it.

Rachel asks…

Is there an alternative to treating a yeast infection other than the creams or Diflucan? A vitamin, maybe?

I get yeast infections occasionally and hate buying those over the counter creams. They don’t always work! And I don’t have health insurance so I don’t want to spend money going to a doctor just for a prescription. I read that you can actually insert a vitamin A supplement into your vagina as an alternative to the creams. Is this true? Is there anything else I can do? Thank you!

thrash44 answers:

You should take probiotics. You can also apply sugar free plain yogurt directly to your vulva if you feel terrible. Stay away from sugars and breads they only feed yeast. Keep VERY dry to discourage yeast growth.

Shelley asks…

for health food and alternative medicine experts. This is a little embarassing, but I’d like to know?

I went on a cholesterol reducing diet. Gave up all hard fats (butter etc) in lieu of olive and grape seed oil, adopted grainy breads and pasta in lieu of white and refined, took fish oil, garlic and other supplements while I packed my diet with vegetables and fruits and nuts. All good stuff, right?

Then out of the blue, I got a really bad stomache ache and felt like I had to ‘go’. But instead of what normally happens, my body seemed to ‘expell’ something. After that, I got a wonderful burst of energy. Any Idea what is going on?

thrash44 answers:

Your body is cleaning out all the bad stuff. The grainy breads, vegetables, fruit and oils are helping. Too much garlic can give you a stomach ache. As you get cleaned out, you may get more energy, but it may just have been the relief of ‘going’ and getting rid of the ache.

Questions And Answers On Nutrition Health Supplements

Susan asks…

is nu-tek nutrition supplements okay for you and your health.?

my girl friend is trying to lose weight and these supplements help cleanse your body of toxins and they have have a vitaim powder to use for aiding you in losing weight. just wondering if any one has used the detox and natures fuel supp. from the nutrishop store.

answers:

NO

The MOST important thing is to eat naturally..without medicines, chemicals, “starving” your self etc.

First, it would be best for you to eat as healthy as possible..this will also help you considerably to lose weight gradually and naturally..

Eat fresh fruits, vegetables, drink plenty of WATER..avoid all cokes, caffeines, smoking, alchohol etc. As these also add weight as well as they contain chemicals which disturb your natural bio rythmns as well as brain chemistry. Try not to eat too much meat, and the meat you should eat should be “lean meat” such as steamed chicken and rice, or steamed fish with rice..and vegetables,, this should be your staple diet rice and vegetables with fruits..AVOID “JUNK FOOD” and “Fast Food” as this type of food is very unhealthy, lacking in vitamins really and has plenty of fattening molecules which make one gain weight and is very bad for overall health.

If you snack,, try fruits with yogurt or fruit yogurt and nuts.. Nuts are very healthy for your body .and contain proteins.

Go for walks every evening or morning or whenever you get time each day for 1 hour or 2 hours..make this somewhere you enjoy walking even if you have to drive a bit to there..and make this a daily routine..you will enjoy it once you get into it ..and it makes you feel great after..just walking for 1 hour or 2 hours.

If you do this..every day for one month ..you should lose around 10 pounds (.714 stone) per month until you get to your natural healthy weight.. Look up on the internet for an idea of what your weight for your height should be ..and when you get to this weight,,your body will look very nice and you will feel very good.

10 pounds (.714 stone ) each month in 3 months you should lose 30 pounds (2 stones, 2 pounds)..for sure…but no junk food and dont drink alcohol or smoke, dont eat junk..just healthy food with vitamins and walking 1 hour or 2 hours every day..and drink plenty of water..this is guaranteed way to lose weight naturally and for good, if you stick to this, which you should,,as it makes you feel so much more positive due to the vitamins and lack of chemicals making you feel depressed…

Btw, forgot to mention,,just in case you dont know how to really make healthy meals..buy a “food steamer” at your local deparment store..they are very cheap and work very well..as well as buy a “rice cooker” which is also very cheap..eating rice is a great way to get your necessary carbs “healthy carbs” to lose weight and has lots of natural energy inside. You can buy asian rice at most large supermarkets or if you have a local oriental market..they sale quality asian rice.. Thai or indian rice is good “jasmine rice”.. Buy corn or canola oil to sprinkle on vegetables or rice before steaming to add to taste as well as you can buy several nice spices like “cumin” or “Curry powders”, etc.just sprinkle on the vegetables before steaming to give nice taste.

Drink “Green Tea” as this is very healthy and helps burn extra fat faster…you can buy quality green tea at most oriental shops or large supermarkets as well

Thomas asks…

2) l-glutamine

3) vitamin c – 500mg in morning, 500 mg in afternoon, 500mg after supper, 500 mg before bed. Vitamin c is a great anti oxident, it also builds the amune system.

Don asks…

CURIOUS: Is there any area of vitamin nutrition that is left out that is important for this person’s health ?

Taking B complex, Amino Acids, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic acid for joints. And C-0-Q-10 for heart.

Is this complete , or is there an area of supplements that is being left out? Any suggestions for supplements to make it more complete, or well rounded health wise?

answers:

If you are female and of reproductive age, there are a couple of things that you might add:
Calcium – for bones
Iron – for blood
Folate – to protect against birth defects. They have recently upped the recommended dose for women who might become pregnant. However, there might also be cancer risks associated with excessive consumption.

In general, and with the exceptions of the three things I mention above in women, a well balanced diet that includes plenty of fresh fruits and vegitables will cover your nutritional needs. If you really think your diet doesn’t cover your needs, perhaps you could visit a nutritionist or ask your OB-GYN for further advice.

The best vitamins that I’ve ever found are by Standard Process. They’re all natural and easily absorbed/used by the human body.

Naturopathic doctors and chiropractors sell them. It’s not MLM. You have to be in the health field to sell them but you should look into them.

There’s a naturopathic doctor that gives health quizzes on the Net for $5 to tell you which products you need:
